Capacitive behavior of graphene–ZnO composite film for supercapacitors …
To further investigate the capacitive behavior of ITO–G–ZnO electrode, chronopotentiometry was performed at a constant current of 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1 and 1.2 mA, respectively, within the potential range of 0–1 V.As seen from Fig. 5, each charge–discharge curve exhibits almost linear line, indicating typical behavior of supercapacitors.
1) Capacitive Current – charging current is exponential as shown I cap = e-kt Note: Capacitive current decreases more rapidly than Faradaic current so at longer times the ratio I Far /I cap is larger 2) Occurrence of coupled chemical reactions e.g. Ox + n e-Red A
Rapid Constant Potential Capacitive Measurements with Solid-Contact Ion-Selective Electrodes Coupled to Electronic Capacitor
A constant potential capacitive readout of solid-contact ion-selective electrodes (SC-ISE) allows one to obtain easily identifiable current transients that can be integrated to obtain a charge vs logarithmic activity relationship. The resulting readout can therefore be much more sensitive than traditional open-circuit potentiometry. …

Analysis of cyclic voltammograms of electrochromic a-WO3 films …
The main features of cyclic voltammograms (CVs) of thin electrochromic films based on a-WO 3 were investigated. First, the chemical capacitance is defined in terms of the electrochemical potential variation with the insertion level, x, and is measured under galvanostatic (chronopotentiometry) quasi-equilibrium conditions. ...
